About Copper Still Coffee:
Copper Still Coffee is a converted fish and chip trailer that has been personalised and homified by Joe and Mari.
After more than a decade in cafes and catering in Edinburgh they chose to move to Islay and three years later they opened their trailer located at Port Ellen harbour selling delicious freshly baked goods and equally fantastic coffee.
Three years on again the trailer is normally open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 08.45 – 15.00 from April through to October (weather allowing) and home-made curries and other evening takeaways offered on ‘pop-up’ days.
Throughout the winter they are hoping to offer warming lunches Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well as the pop-up evenings.
All to takeaway – although there are a few benches and tables – they serve homemade soup, pure mince sausage rolls, quiche, cakes and brownies with gluten free options available.
Winning gold stars at the great taste awards and the enthusiasm of locals too, Copper Still is well worth a visit when you are on Islay!
