About Bunnahabhain Distillery:
Whatever the weather, a warm welcome and spectacular view awaits you when visiting Bunnahabhain.
Found at the end of a small single-track road on the shores of the Sound of Islay, Bunnahabhain Distillery is known for its spectacular surroundings and delicious, signature unpeated Islay Single Malt Whisky.
The distillery was founded in 1881 and has a rich history on the Island. A new visitor centre was opened in 2021.
Learn more about the whisky, its production, and meet its people, by booking one of the distillery’s tasting experiences, or join a tour and see the island’s tallest stills in action. Or just turn up to drink in the view from the beautiful visitor centre balcony, browse the shop, or get some expert advice on which bottle to take home.
There is free parking, free WiFi, toilets and electric vehicle charging points. It is wheelchair accessible with a level access to the entrance, is all on one floor and has an adapted toilet (the production tour is not accessible however due to different levels and uneven surfaces.
Well behaved pets are welcome in the visitor centre shop, but not in the production or any food and drink areas.
