About Kilchoman Distillery:
Kilchoman, (pronounced kilhoman) established in 2005, is a farm distillery and the first to be built on Islay for 124 years. Kilchoman gives everyone the opportunity to see all that is best in the grass-roots traditions of malt whisky distilling – from barley to bottle.
The Visitor Centre is open seven days a week from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
The shop sells a large range of branded goods and gifts including homeware, accessories, scottish fine soaps, kids toys and a selection tweed gifts from the Islay Woolen Mill and Indigo Ivy. There are gifts for all the family!
The café is open each day from 10 to 4 for teas/coffees and home backing and lunch is served from 12 to 3 each day.
Here you will find a range of food and light snacks on offer including cakes, soups, paninis and our famous Cullen Skink – all home-made.
We serve a full range of coffees but are always happy to try something a little different – how about a shot of Whisky in your Latte or Caramel in your Espresso Macchiato.
For groups of 8 and over we can arrange tours combined with lunch.
