Tigh Cargaman Cottages provide an ideal base for exploring the island. Situated in a two acre wildlife haven, Tigh Cargaman dates back to 1842 when it was built for the Port Ellen Distillery manager.
The two cottages are open throughout the year offering quality accommodation with fully inclusive pricing. There is ample parking and lots of space for children to play safely.
Tigh Cargaman offers wonderful views over Kilnaughton Bay and the Oa peninsula with a sandy beach at the bottom of the garden just over the road.
Whilst offering quiet seclusion the cottages are only a short walk from all the amenities of Port Ellen and close to the airport and ferry terminal.
Stables Cottage; Sleeps 4. Situated on its own about 50 metres from Tigh Cargaman House, a single story building that sleeps 4. 1 twin room and 1 double room, each with their own washbasins. Bathroom with bath and shower. Kitchen and lounge diner with view over back garden and woodland. The cottage has magnificent views over Kilnaughton Bay and a private garden at the side.
Old Cottage; Sleeps 4. Is a 2 storey building approx. 40 metres from the house and adjacent to Stable Cottage. First floor: 1 twin bedroom and 1 double bedroom, both with washbasins. Ground floor: dining room, shower room, kitchen and lounge. Extensive outside space for alfresco dining.
