Thursday August 17 Beachcombing Safari:  Sandline wonders, shells and mysterious remains are all to be discovered on this family outdoor adventure at Uiskentuie Strand (between the turnoff to Kilchoman and the turnoff to Gruinart on the A847). Meet on the shore at West end at 2pm. This event is one of several family wildlife events running in August organised by the Islay Natural History Trust.
