Sunday June 23 Big Strand Beachcombing Safari – discover the washed up treasures that have drifted onto Islay’s biggest beach. Meet at 2pm at the end of the airport runway past the cattle grid. Walk organised by Islay Natural History Trust. Around two hours of guided expertise in the field. Please dress for the weather (sorry, no dogs). No charge and no booking necessary, but donations very welcome. (suggested donations of £5 per adult, £12 per family and £2 for INHT members)
