A short geologically-themed walk. See the ‘billion-year gap’ look at ice age glaciation and do some pebble hunting. Meet at Kikchiaran chapel and layby (please park responsibly) at 2pm.

Organised by Islay Natural History Trust these Sunday nature walks are 1.5 – 2 hours of guided expertise in the field – identifying plants, birds, butterflies, geology and all manner of wildlife delights. Wear stout footwear and dress for the weather. Sorry, no dogs. Sessions are free but donations are welcomed (suggested £5 for adults; £10 family and £2 INHT members)
