Helping you make the most of visiting Islay and Jura – a world apart but just a journey away.
Breathtaking beaches, World class distilleries, Wonderful wildlife, Ancient heritage, Clear waters, Stunning Scenery, Mouthwatering food – there is something for everyone.
Holidaying off the mainland is a wonderfully relaxing experience. Scottish islands are more popular than ever just now and on Islay, the second largest and most southern of the South Hebrides, and neighbouring Jura you have the best of all worlds – spectacular scenery, rare wildlife, great cycling, stunning beaches, wonderful walks, amazing food and of course more whisky distilleries than any other island – not to mention the rum and the gin!
The journey here is part of the experience, but first-time visitors naturally have a lot of questions about getting here and what it will be like. This website should help give you all the information you need to learn more and plan your visit to the islands. We recommend coming for a minimum of three nights and staying as long as you can! Please don’t hesitate to contact us at Explore Islay and Jura (email hello@islayjura.co.uk) with any further questions.
